The Alarm Doesn’t Wake Me Up. What Can I Do?+

We understand how important it is to wake up on time.

If the vibration does not wake you at first, don’t worry. Try the following:

Adjust Your Three Alarms

Set all three alarms with a 15-minute gap between them.

Once your body becomes more accustomed to the vibration, you can gradually reduce the gaps to:

  • 10 minutes
  • 5 minutes
  • 3 minutes

Check the Fit

Wear your Dormy Band snugly against your skin so you can clearly feel the vibration.

It should feel secure, but not uncomfortably tight.

Try a Different Position

Try wearing the band on the inside of your wrist, where the vibration may be easier to feel.

Test It for Several Mornings

Your body may need a little time to adjust to a new type of alarm.

Test different:

  • Alarm times
  • Fits
  • Wrist positions

This will help you discover what works best for you.

How Long Does the Vibration Last?+

The vibration continues for approximately 2 minutes and then stops automatically.

This gives you time to respond without allowing the band to vibrate indefinitely.

For additional backup, you can set the second and third alarms several minutes after the first.

Can I Snooze the Alarm?+

The Dormy Band does not have a traditional snooze button.

This is intentional, because repeatedly pressing snooze can make it easier to stay in bed and fall back asleep.

Instead, you can set up to three separate alarms several minutes apart.

These provide planned backup reminders while encouraging you to get up rather than keep snoozing.

Tip

Place the Dormy Band away from your bed after taking it off, so you have to sit up or stand up to stop your morning routine.

Why Do I See Different Numbers Appear on the Display?+

This is completely normal.

The Dormy Band cycles through different types of information when you press the button:

  1. Current time
  2. Date
  3. Day of the week

The days of the week are displayed as numbers.

For example, 5 represents Friday.

Can I Turn the Alarm Off for One Day Only?+

No.

The alarm cannot be paused automatically for only one day.

Once an alarm is set, it will go off at the same time every day until you turn it off.

If you do not need the alarm for one morning:

  • Turn it off manually.
  • Remember to turn it back on the following day.

The alarm will not reactivate automatically.
